Boozy Peaches & Cream goat milk soap (peach balling scented, with ground buckwheat)
In honoring West Virginia (we now are settled in Oakdale, PA!), I had to make Boozy Peaches and Cream goat milk soap. The moonshiners of the Appalachia are known for making their strong brew out of any sugar source they can get their hands on, including peaches!
I also included ground buckwheat (not actual wheat, but a plant in the knotweed family), for a gentle scrub, because Preston county is known for popularizing buckwheat pancakes. Buckwheat was a survival food that helped keep West Virginians surviving during the Great Depression.
Keep being wild and wonderful West Virginia!
