Introducing my new Mango Butter Sulfate-Free Shampoo Bar! This shampoo bar does not contain soap, but cleanses with the most gentle surfactants, with a PH of 4.5 which makes it suitable for all hair types (and can be used as a body wash too!). You'll find it easy to transition from using liquid shampoo when trying this bar, in fact you might never go back to those bulky plastic containers. :)
MADE WITH:
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) is a solid, gentle anionic surfactant made from coconut oil. It is considered natural and makes for wonderful gentle lather.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa) is a mild anionic surfactant of vegetable origin. It meets ECOCERT standards, and is not to be confused with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)-- it is a much gentler surfactant.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a liquid amphoteric surfactant made from coconut oil. It is a 'helper' surfactant that makes the over all foam and lather more gentle and stable.
Mango Butter formulated from the pit of the mango fruit, mango butter is highly emollient and considered a hydrator for hair. It strengthens hair, reduces breakage, and because of its vitamin content and antifungal/antimicrobial properties, soothes the hair and scalp.
Polyquaternium 7 is a water-soluble cationic co-polymer that is highly conditioning and leaves a wonderful, silky skin and hair feel.
Arrowroot Powder is a natural ingredient known for oil absorption and being gentle on your scalp, but in this bar it mostly helps give a creamy texture to the lather.
To Use: Simply wet bar and work a lather into hair and scalp. A little goes a LONG way! Make sure to keep bar dry in between uses.
